Patch for all 649 pokemon on a Emerald ROM? (self.nuzlocke) submitted 6 years ago by RsLeafy. Title pretty much says it all. If I have to get a certain ROM for said patch please include that also. There isn't an Emerald 649 patch, but I recently posted one for Fire Red, along with a randomizer. Emerald Isle Published Oct 22, 2014. This hack of Pokemon Emerald is intended for playing the game on an emulator or nuzlocke purposes. All it pertains to is getting the entire Hoenn Dex (not the National Dex, the same roster is available in that case) without trading and a couple slight modifications to make life easier.
Evolution changes (you cannot get all of these in-game, but they’re all changed for various purposes):
- Machoke, Graveler, and Kadabra evolve by happiness.
- Scyther evolves at level 26.
- Haunter evolves by happiness in the nighttime.
- Feebas evolves by happiness in the daytime.
- Onix evolves at level 45.
- Poliwhirl evolves to Politoed at level 35.
- Porygon evolves at level 24.
- Slowpoke (to Slowking) and Seadra evolve with Water Stone.
- Clamperl evolves via Happiness; Huntail at night and Gorebyss at day.
Also included:
- Running indoors is possible as long as you have the Running Shoes, just like in later games.
- Hackmew’s RNG fix and Pomeg Berry fix.
- Pokemon originally in Ruby and Sapphire but not in Emerald (Lunatone, Zangoose, Meditite, Surskit, and Roselia) are restored but in a limited fashion: all of them are in the first area they appear in those games.
- Treecko is found in Petalburg Woods, Mudkip when surfing on Petalburg City’s water, and Torchic in Granite Cave where you give Steven the letter.
- Feebas can be fished out of Route 114 with a Good Rod. This was introduced for pure convenience.
- The trade in Battle Frontier was altered to give you Jirachi. Meowth has been moved to the Safari Zone.
- The Battle Frontier’s PokeMart has been altered: the actual clerk now sells every TM in the game, and the girl beside him sells Evolutionary Stones and every Berry in the game.
- Every instance of ALL CAPITAL LETTERS has been removed except for a few scant exceptions.
- Ferry Events work now, tickets can be found around Hoenn in normal item pickups. I’m not saying where, but they’re pretty easy to find!
- The last Rival battle uses the fully evolved Starter, because you never got to even see it otherwise.
- Some things in Pokemon Emerald that were changed to green for no reason have been converted to their original colors.
- Improved Pokemon sprites, animations and all.
- A few optional patches: actually notice when it’s day and night, Uncensor trainer sprites, input a few newer game mechanics, or make Emerald a tiny bit more like Ruby and Sapphire! More information in the included FAQ.
For a version of this hack with all 386 Pokemon obtainable, please see Complete National Dex Edition. If you’d rather the edited evolutions be done by new evolution stones, check out Stone Clones.

Pokemon Emerald 650 Resource Patch Download
What exactly is it?
Pokémon Emerald 650 is a patch of Emerald that I have been working on for almost a year now, and I finally say that it is ready for a release! As the name implies, this is a patch with over 600+ Pokémon in it from the first 5 generations, and Sylveon, because it is a cross-gen evolutions. The reason there is no 6th generation is because there is a lack of sprites for them, and it will be quite a while before they are made. This is a resource patch, meaning that the main storyline has not been changed. It's just...everything else. This is meant to be the base for someone to make their own patch. Look below for the features in this hack.
Features:
- 650 Pokémon, along with stats, evolutions, movesets, Dex entries, sprites (Updated for Gen 1-3 as well), and cries
- Fairy-type is its own type, included on the old and new Pokémon, old and new moves, and in the Pokédex
- Evolutions has been expanded to 8 per Pokémon, for Eevee specifically
- 4 Evolutionary items have been added, specifically the Dawn Stone, Dusk Stone, and Shiny Stone from Gen IV, and the Link Cable from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
- New Evolution Methods have been added, like Map Name Evolution, Move Name Evolution, etc.
- All Pokémon that evolve through trade do not anymore
- 100+ new moves, along with some new move animations, new descriptions and move effects
- Old moves have been updated, some with edited powers, accuracy, and/or effects
- Reusable TMs, so no worrying about losing any
- Eggs now hatch at Level 1
- You can run in buildings
- This patch is decapped, meaning the game doesn't CAP everything
- When you capture a Pokémon, it will give you EXP for it

Bugs/Glitches/Small Notes:
-On hardware, like DroidEmu or gba4ios, if you go over the Shiny Stone, the game will crash. But on a VBA, it works just fine.
-Move Tutor compatibility and eggs moves were not edited
Pokemon Emerald 650 Resource Patch Download
-There are only abilities from Gen 3 in this, since I still can't figure out how to add new ones, so new Pokémon with new abilities will have different ones (Reshiram having Flash Fire, Rampardos having Rock Head, etc.)-Some moves don't have the proper animations (i.e. Spacial Rend, Fusion Flare), and some don't have proper effects
-If your Pokémon gains a level through experience by catching a Pokémon you've never caught before, when you go to the Pokédex entry screen, it will glitch up. It won't freeze the game, it will be fine if you hit A or B after it.
If there is any more problems, please note below and I'll look into it!

- Emerald 650 Patch
- Resource Tools in order to edit the patch (G3HS, A-Map, PGE, and NUPS Patcher)
- Offsets in Word Documents and Notepad files to what I repointed everything to
Also, here's the .ini for a program called Unnamed Trainer Editor. I didn't put it in the download because I never use it because the last time I did, it broke the game, so...yeah, if you want it, here it is:
