- Installation will be done by default into a separate %ORACLE_HOME% .- and this is our strong recommendation.
- If you’d like to install into your existing 11.2.0.1 %ORACLE_HOME% then you’ll have to detach your 11.2.0.1 home from the OUI inventory first (setup.exe -detachHome ORACLE_HOME=c:orahomes11.2.0), save the contents of ?networkadmin and ?database, clean up, install 11.2.0.2 and copy the saved networkadmin and database content back.
