DRAGON BALL FighterZ receives today a host of free updates and a new adjustment patch on PC. FighterZ Tournament is a new, online tournament mode featuring various new match rules, culminating in a final 8-player bracket. Bandai Namco has unveiled what will be improved and changed through Dragon Ball FighterZ’s latest patch, offering tweaks to character moves, game performance and much more. Revealed via Twitter.
A new patch is coming soon for the Dragon Ball FighterZ, and it'll make changes to the fighting game's modes, characters, and other features. The complete patch notes were posted on the Bandai Namco Facebook page and can be seen in full below.
For the training mode, this patch fixes a bug that caused the Assist Gauge to replenish when the player continuously guards and another that fixes an animation issue. There is also a new feature added in the patch called Party Match; this allows you to find matches with five other players. Additionally, the controller will now rumble in Ranked and Casual modes when the game has found an opponent; a small change, but a welcome-sounding one.
In terms of character changes, do not expect balance changes, but instead bug fixes. Specifically, the update fixes a bug that stopped Goku Black from vanishing after using the special move 'The Work of a God' after an Ultimate Z change. Additionally, there was a bug that stopped Frieza from using the 'You Must Die by My Hand' movie when on the ground in some circumstances, but this new patch will fix that.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Critic Peter Brown awarded the title a 9/10 in GameSpot's Dragon Ball FighterZ review and said, 'Even if you think Dragon Ball is old hat, and even if you're intimidated by fighting games, there's a good chance you'll be drawn into the explosive action and personalities that expertly evoke the anime's infectious spirit.'

Bandai Namco has detailed the next update for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The patch is scheduled to roll out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC today, March 16, and it's primarily focused on making gameplay improvements, although it introduces a couple of new features as well.
Among other things, Bandai Namco says the patch will 'greatly improve' matchmaking and server stability for Ring matches. The patch also addresses a list of bugs affecting certain character, such as one that would cause Super Saiyan Blue Goku's x10 Kaioken Kamehameha combo to continue even if the opponent managed to escape the attack. Bandai Namco says recorded data on the Replay Channel will be deleted in order to implement these gameplay changes.

In terms of new content, the update adds a feature called Z-Unions, which are effectively 'fan clubs' for each character. Players who join a Z-Union will receive special rewards, with even better ones unlocking the longer you stay in a Union. Additionally, the update gives players the ability to exit the Game Lobby using the stairs at the entrance. Bandai Namco is also adding a quick way to jump into the Offline Lobby from the game's title screen.
